About Me
I am Emma Forrester, a British Jamaican indie author based in Somerset. I grew up loving mystical tales, zombie fiction and heartfelt character stories, and now I create worlds that sit somewhere between all three. My writing is shaped by my heritage, by the Somerset landscapes outside my door and by the people who fill my life with humour, strength and love.
I believe in stories that blend darkness with warmth. I believe in characters who feel real enough to sit beside you. I believe in hope appearing in the most unexpected places.
When I am not writing, I am usually in my garden surrounded by sunflowers, flowers and two enormous dogs who insist on digging new and very unnecessary holes. I love books that let me escape into another life, and I try to give my readers that same feeling of being completely submerged in a story.

Debut Novel: Queen’s Road
A gripping and emotional dystopian story set on a small Somerset street as an unexplained infection spreads across the country. Neighbours become chosen family. Danger grows closer.
