Writers on the Street

Great stories don’t only come from big publishers. Every day, independent authors are creating powerful, imaginative, and deeply human stories that deserve to be discovered.

Writers on the Street is a small spotlight feature where I share and celebrate fellow indie authors and the books they are bringing into the world.

Each feature introduces readers to a new voice, a new story, and the passion behind independent publishing.

What the spotlight includes

Selected authors may be featured through:

• a short author introduction
• their book and where readers can find it
• social media promotion through the Emma Forrester Books community
• a feature within the Writers on the Street section

Who can apply

Independent authors across all genres are welcome. I’m especially interested in stories that bring strong characters, interesting ideas, and unique voices to readers.

How to apply- Submissions temporarily paused

The response to Writers on the Street has been incredible. Thank you so much to the many indie authors who have submitted their books and stories for the spotlight feature.

Due to the level of interest, the schedule is now fully booked well in advance while I work through the wonderful authors already on the list.

Because of this, new submissions are currently paused.

Thank you again to everyone who applied and supported the idea. I’m really looking forward to sharing these writers and their books with readers over the coming months.

If submissions reopen in the future, I’ll announce it here.

Independent stories deserve to be seen. Writers on the Street is my small way of helping readers discover them.
